Nerang State School is part of the Commonwealth
Bank School Banking Program.
All students who have a Commonwealth Bank
Youthsaver account and would like to take part in the program are to place
their yellow bank book into the grey class banking bag first thing in the
morning, which will then be taken to the office for processing.

What's School Banking?
School Banking is a fun, interactive and engaging way for young
Australians to learn about money and develop good savings habits.
Children who deposit money into their Youthsaver account through
School Banking earn Dollarmites tokens which they can redeem for exciting

How to join?
To participate, your child will need a Commonwealth Bank
Youthsaver account which you can open at any branch of the Commonwealth
Bank. The nearest branch to our school is 61 Price Street Nerang. You
will need to take identification for yourself and a birth certificate for your

Rewarding good savings!
To help reward individual savings efforts, every time a student
deposits into their Youthsaver account through School Banking, regardless of
the amount, they’ll receive a virtual Dollarmites token.
Once they’ve collected 10 virtual tokens, they can redeem them for
a variety of exciting reward items. They’ll also receive a certificate which
will be presented with on assembly with their prize when they reach certain
